Hey Beltalowda!
If you’re following us on social media, you know that we do our best to answer your questions, every day. Recently, though, we sent a callout to all the fans out there of The Expanse (the TV series, the books, all of it).
We asked on The Expanse subreddit and sent the call out to all Screaming Firehawks (that’s the awesome nickname for Expanse fans, by the way) for their questions about our first new game as the new Telltale. And, oh boy, did they all deliver.
When it came to answering those questions, though, we wanted to make it a bit more interesting than typing for a few hours. So, we grabbed hold of Zak, VP of Story Development here at Telltale, and Frost, Game Director at Deck Nine, who we’re working with on the title. We sat them down in front of a laptop and a camera, filled them up with coffee (or owkwa kaka as you’ll learn in the video!) and let them rip on your questions.
From Drummer’s goals, what drew the team to her and some insight into the story of the game, to quicktime events and accessibility features, to developing stories in existing IPs (which you can find out more on in our last blog!), to other characters who might make an appearance… the two cover a huge range of topics so whether you’re a lifelong fan of The Expanse or intrigued about what’s next from Telltale, it’s a must-watch.
